Our History
The National Federation of Cooperative Primaries in the Philippines, or NaFeCOOP, was organized on November 27, 2008 by Atty. Mordino "Mordz" R. Cua and other cooperative leaders with a primary vision of building a federation that will cater the needs of non-credit cooperatives.
Atty. Cua is the founder of CLIMBS Life and General Insurance, MASS-SPECC Cooperative Development Center, and Oro Integrated Cooperative, and is the Co-Founder of the National Confederation of Cooperatives (NATCCO).
In the eight (8) years that followed, the federation was known as the NaFeCOOP Printing Press, the services of which were its primary means of income. In 2020, the NaFeCOOP was officially reorganized with its printing press identity was delegated to the CLIMBS Printing Press and Publishing Corp. (CPPPC), and the NaFeCOOP became a full-fledged federation advocating on education and the promotion of Cooperative Values and Principles, particularly on Cooperative Principle #5 Education, Training, and Information. The Co-operative College of the Philippines is its training arm.
